Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to integrate security into the DevOps pipeline, ensuring the security of the software development lifecycle.
- This role involves securing platforms, automating security processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement security controls.
- You will identify vulnerabilities, apply secure coding practices, maintain security tools, and automate security tasks.
- Additionally, you will develop tools or scripts to enhance security automation and streamline DevOps processes.
- You'll also contribute to continuous integration, delivery, and infrastructure automation, ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Collaboration with development, QA, and Product Security teams will be essential to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security throughout the development and deployment process.

- Experience with release management tools like Jenkins and GitLab
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Familiarity with Source Code Management (SCM) tools, preferably GitLab.
- Familiarity with cloud and virtualization technologies, including tools such as VirtualBox and VMware.
- Proficient in programming languages such as C++, C#, and scripting languages like Maven, Bash, Groovy (for Jenkins), Python, and PowerShell.
- Experienced in managing user stories and tracking issues with tools like Jira.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a DevOps role
- Strong commitment to continuous learning, particularly in DevOps/cybersecurity trends and best practices.
- Experience with security tools such as Rapid7, Veracode SAST or Coverity SAST, and Black Duck SCA for vulnerability scanning and management.
- Experience identifying vulnerabilities, performing risk assessments, and recommending appropriate remediations
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
Compensation:The base salary range for this role is $129,600 - $207,400. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
