Senior DevSecOps Architect | Lansing, Michigan, United States Senior DevSecOps Architect Location: Lansing, MI (Remote considered) | Job Type: C2C About the Role Step into a pivotal leadership position as a Senior DevSecOps Architect, where you'll set the strategic vision and drive secure-by-design practices across the enterprise. You'll play a key role in modernizing application security, influencing major security initiatives, and shaping the future of DevSecOps maturity. Responsibilities - Architect, implement, and refine secure-by-design solutions for application security testing platforms - Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to executive leadership, shaping the vision and roadmap for security and DevSecOps initiatives - Guide teams in integrating security architecture frameworks, secure SDLC practices, and automation into the development lifecycle - Research, evaluate, and recommend best-fit security technologies aligned with enterprise standards and future needs - Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture teams on technology validation and drive required governance processes - Author security requirements, architecture specifications, and design artifacts, maintaining comprehensive documentation and best practices - Conduct security architecture reviews for new systems, platforms, integrations, and cloud/on-prem solutions - Define and validate application, platform, and infrastructure security and assurance requirements - Identify and articulate critical architectural elements that require further definition or enhancement - Participate in project planning and delivery workflows, providing expert estimates and architectural guidance - Develop and standardize scalable architectural patterns for enterprise-wide adoption - Apply and uphold security controls (NIST 800, CIS) and architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) - Integrate secure database architecture, data protection, and automated compliance controls into engineering designs - Oversee network and perimeter security, ensuring alignment with zero-trust principles and enterprise governance - Guide secure adoption and governance of Microsoft Power Platform, defining enterprise guardrails and policies Required Skills and Experience - Proven expertise in DevSecOps architecture, application security, and secure SDLC implementation - Deep knowledge of security controls (NIST 800, CIS), enterprise frameworks (TOGAF), and secure automation tooling - Strong experience designing and implementing security for cloud and on-prem environments - Demonstrated success in architecting secure database solutions, data protection, and compliance automation - Familiarity with modern network/perimeter security strategies, including zero-trust models - Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred Skills - Experience with Microsoft Power Platform security governance - Advanced certifications in security architecture or enterprise frameworks (e.g., SABSA, CISSP-ISSAP) - Background in large-scale enterprise transformation programs Benefits - Opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives with enterprise-wide visibility - Exposure to modern security technologies, frameworks, and best practices - Dynamic, collaborative work environment with cross-disciplinary teams - Career advancement through continuous learning and leadership opportunities How to Apply Ready to drive enterprise security innovation?
