Job Description

Responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of application software supporting mission critical business applications within the PSG IT merchandise accounting systems group. Participate in the complete system development life cycle including post implementation support. Provide technical consulting to management, business users, and works closely with other developers as a mentor. Work with the business units to identify business requirements for requested projects. Identify the technical requirements of projects, analyze all aspects of the projects, and perform feasibility and cost/benefit analyses for proposed projects. Perform complex programming assignments requiring an advanced aptitude of established programming standards, methods, and best practices. Role is office-based with flexibility to work up to 12 days from home within reasonable commuting distance of the Cleveland, OH office. Multiple openings available.

This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located at our Cleveland Headquarters office.

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field of study and five (5) years of experience as a Developer, Senior Consultant, Project Manager or related role where required experience gained.


Special Skills:
• Five (5) years of IT experience;
• Five (5) years working on all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle;
• Five (5) years of developing database applications in an Oracle environment;
• Five (5) years with stored procedures, triggers, packages, functions, and complex queries;
• Three (3) years working with customers to build and formulate business requirements; and
• Three (3) years Oracle performance tuning techniques and unit testing methods for PL/SQL using SQL Developer.
