OverviewA leading global financial services organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with a strong background in AI-driven development and deep expertise in Finastra platforms (Summit and/or Kondor). This role will support key enterprise initiatives focused on innovation, modernization, and platform integration.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Java (Spring Boot / microservices architecture)
- Integrate and enhance Finastra Summit and/or Kondor platforms within a broader financial systems landscape
- Apply AI/ML technologies to improve automation, analytics, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, architecture, and business stakeholders
- Contribute to system design, code reviews, and technical strategy discussions
- Investigate and resolve complex production issues across distributed environments
- Support modernization efforts, including cloud adoption and intelligent enablement of legacy systems
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in enterprise Java development (Spring Boot preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Finastra Summit and/or Kondor
- Exposure to or experience with AI/ML technologies (e.g., predictive analytics, NLP, automation tools, AI frameworks)
- Strong understanding of financial services or banking systems
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerization, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Familiarity with data engineering workflows or AI model integration
- Experience in large-scale enterprise or capital markets environments
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
