Full Job Description
Primary Role

This position functions on a regional basis and is responsible for supplying cost effective and reliable equipment systems that support sales of Water Treatment and Pulp & Paper Chemicals. The scope includes system specification, design, construction oversight, field installation, equipment start-up, and trouble shooting. This position is the primary equipment liaison for the field sales force and functions with limited supervision. Success will be measured by the cost and performance of designed systems in the field.

Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions of the Job

% of Time Spent

Be an equipment systems expert, provide the required support for the field sales force to correctly specify, install, and run equipment systems.

Provide on-site scope out, design and install of feed equipment at customer sites.

Manage Equipment Project Requests within product line areas. Use the GEER/AFE process to ensure that projects are properly approved.

Manage the field equipment capital asset pool to minimize idle assets. Includes capital asset tracking, vendor refurbishment and reuse of stranded assets to reduce capital spend.

Facilitate design recommendations and ensure the low-cost path to procure.

Support field sales interface with the equipment acquisition process. This includes equipment manuals, specifications, and safety protocol.

Product Management - maintain an equipment product line for sale to customers. Ensure SAP coding is correct, margin and profitability of product line is sustainable through pricing management.

Support qualification of vendors for outsourced construction

Product Development - Facilitate the design and support of equipment systems to improve our equipment offerings and support our product launch efforts.

Qualifications (minimally required education, work experience, knowledge and licensure/certifications)

Education

Bachelor's Degree (Science or other technical degree) Would consider experience in lieu of a technical degree

Experience

5+ years of industry experience

Project management of complex projects

Strong relationship management skills

Experience learning new concepts and or technology and applying them

Ability to work autonomy and direct/coach both indirect/direct reports

Experience working in multi levels within an organization to achieve results

Documented results solving complex and non-routine technical problems

The expected compensation range for this position is between $93,530.00 and $137,181.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
