As a Senior Demand Planner here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing demand planning strategies to ensure accurate forecasting and optimal demand management.

You will report directly to our Global Demand Planning Manager, and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC, or Houston, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the accuracy and efficiency of our supply chain by managing demand and asset planning in a manufacturing environment. You will determine and ensure that a high-quality Demand forecast is developed for use in Supply Planning and Financial Forecasting, optimizing promotional lift and demand instruments to meet customer and business needs.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement robust demand planning strategies to ensure accurate forecasting and effective demand management.
  • Facilitate regional demand planning meetings to capture input from marketing, sales & Offering Management
  • Develops a volume and value$ demand forecast at multiple levels of aggregation with a min of 12-18 months' time horizon and makes CDP (Consensus Demand Plan) recommendations
  • Understand and document gaps between Consensus Demand Plan v AOP
  • Work with Sales & Marketing to provide root cause analysis and corrective actions to continually improve demand forecast accuracy (wMAPA, BIAS)
  • Provide guidance and support to the demand planning team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, market trends, and customer insights to enhance demand forecasting accuracy.
  • Monitor and analyze demand patterns, adjusting forecasts as necessary to meet customer demands and optimize inventory levels.
  • Create, maintain, and analyze sales forecast and production plans at the account level globally for products and equipment.
  • Conduct formal forecast reviews with Global Sales and Business to analyze, measure, and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Design and implement necessary supply chain optimization projects and work with IT for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and STRAP processes.
  • Track KPIs and publish performance to multiple internal and external stakeholders, presenting Demand forecast to Leadership at monthly meetings.
  • Partner with SIOP process team and supply planners to facilitate maximum customer satisfaction, stakeholder satisfaction, and financial performance.


Qualifications

You Must Have:
  • 3-5 years of planning, materials, sourcing, or other related supply chain experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with demand planning principles, methodologies, and tools with experience managing complex data analysis.
  • 3+ years of experience with demand planning software and systems, and advanced MS Office skills with proficiency in Excel.
  • 3+ years of experience with demand planning tools such as Kinaxis Rapid Response, Salesforce.com, SAP ERP systems, or similar platforms.


We Value:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain/Logistics/Engineering.
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems and Demand Planning tools like RapidResponse, SAP APO module, or Forecast Pro.
  • APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certification preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and delegate.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external customers.
  • Experience building reports in PowerBI
  • Strong Communication skills and ability to develop relationships
