Job Description• Oversight for the integrity and use of the Atlantic Health Decision Support & Cost Accounting System (StrataJazz)
• Responsible for maintaining relationship with Decision Support System vendor and escalating all issues as appropriate.
• Responsible for maintaining and providing final sign off on all quality assurance reviews of data integrations for hospital and physician activity.
• Serves as the subject matter expert for hospital and physician billing data organized within StrataJazz.
• Collaborates with the cost accounting team to ensure accuracy and maintain AH cost accounting model
• Coordinates implementation of new integrations and hospital feeds with internal stakeholders, ISS, and the vendor.
• Management of New User Orientation & Training
• Expected to participate in and inform the development of reporting tools designed to enable service line profitability analyses, trending analysis, and business intelligence.
• Provides regular (monthly) and ad-hoc reports and departmental P&Ls to Decision Support users including Finance, Quality, Planning, and Service Line leadership.
• Perform special analysis as requested on behalf of hospital CFOs and/or Atlantic Health leadership.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, data science, health administration, public health, or business administration. MBA, CPA, or Master's degree is preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant (to the description) work experience in a hospital or health system environment.
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Familiarity with hospital and/or physician billing
- Experience developing Power BI based reports and analytics
- Experience with relational databases and a working knowledge of SQL
