What You Will Do:- Administer and optimize enterprise databases supporting cloud and on-premises workloads.
- Manage database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Support hybrid infrastructure architectures integrating cloud and legacy systems.
- Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and resiliency testing.
- Develop automation for database operations and infrastructure management.
What You Will Need:- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
- US Citizenship is contractually required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum of FIVE (5) + years of overall work experience.
- Experience in database administration and infrastructure engineering experience.
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar database platforms.
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments.
- Knowledge of backup, recovery, and high-availability architectures.
What Would Be Nice To Have:- AWS Database Specialty or equivalent certification.
- Experience supporting mainframe-connected applications.
- ArcGIS Enterprise administration experience.
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
- Experience supporting federal government systems.
The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$116,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
