Position Overview

The Senior Data Engineering Technical Expert serves as a principal advisor and technical leader for enterprise data engineering, architecture, cloud modernization, and strategic transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Advise senior government leadership.
  • Lead enterprise data and cloud architecture efforts.
  • Design scalable ETL/ELT ecosystems.
  • Oversee data governance and integration strategies.
  • Provide executive coaching and technical mentorship.
  • Direct high-risk, high-visibility programs.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Advanced data engineering and cloud expertise.
  • 12+ years of progressively responsible experience leading enterprise initiatives.
  • Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $200,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
