Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in building production data systems, especially in high-volume consumer or entertainment industries.
• Expert proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, Apache Airflow, Clickhouse, Snowflake, Elasticsearch, Apache Spark, and AWS.
• Demonstrated experience in designing fault-tolerant, high-throughput data pipelines managing millions of records daily.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical ideas to diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Adaptable in dynamic startup settings with fast-changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize ETL pipelines for large-scale music industry data.
• Design scalable data systems for integrating new streaming and social media platforms.
• Architect and maintain a multi-cloud data environment including AWS and Snowflake.
• Develop production-grade Python applications and complex PostgreSQL queries.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to derive actionable insights from raw data.
• Work in a hybrid model, coming into the office in San Mateo or New York 3 out of 4 days.
