In your role as a Senior Data Analyst, you will analyze data across diverse healthcare domains while supporting and enhancing automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and reporting scalability. You will provide actionable insights that support both day-to-day and strategic decisions in a fast-paced operational environment with multiple competing priorities.
As part of a technical business team, you will take direct ownership of developing, prototyping, and supporting automation solutions, including scripts and automated workflows. You will partner closely with IT to transition solutions into production environments, while continuing to support, monitor, and refine them post-deployment.
You will function as a subject matter resource for data, reporting, and automation processes, contributing to best practices and ensuring solutions align with business and operational needs.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:- Perform complex data analysis using SQL to support operational reporting and analytics
- Take direct ownership of developing and optimizing automation-ready reporting and data solutions
- Design and deliver dashboards and reports that support high-volume operational workflows and competing priorities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications, automation logic, and reusable solutions
- Develop and prototype automation solutions, including:
- RPA workflows (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere - familiarity)
- Selenium-based scripts for web/UI automation and data extraction
- SQL-based automation (stored procedures, scheduling, reusable logic)
- Partners with IT teams to hand off automation scripts, technical requirements, and design documentation for production deployment
- Support and maintain deployed reporting and automation solutions, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancements
- Troubleshoot report issues, data discrepancies, and automation failures to resolve production and end-user issues
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation and process improvements
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members on SQL, reporting, and automation concepts
- Analyze data accuracy and recommend improvements to data collection, validation, and operational processes
- Contribute to a data-driven and automation-enabled operating environment
- Effectively manage multiple concurrent requests and shifting operational priorities

Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience querying databases (Microsoft SQL and Oracle)
- 5+ years of experience with Power BI, Tableau, and/or SSRS
- Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment with multiple competing priorities
- Experience collaborating with IT to support production deployment of technical solutions
- Firsthand experience developing scripts, automation prototypes, or workflow solutions
- Solid knowledge of relational databases, data marts, and enterprise data warehouse solutions spanning on-premises and cloud-based environments
- Familiarity with automation tools, such as:
- RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate)
- Selenium or similar tools for UI/web automation
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical and automation-ready solutions
- Proven effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in Medicare claims and Medicare Risk Adjustment
- Experience with ETL or orchestration tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory)
- Experience with Python or similar scripting for automation and data processing
- Experience supporting production reporting or automation solutions
- Knowledge of healthcare industry and business functions
- Familiarity with Agile practices
- Exposure to data quality checks and automated validation processes

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
