The Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our analytics team supporting a high-definition title in development. In this hybrid role based in Vancouver, you'll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and quality teams to enhance development quality, product stability and drive business outcomes through data. Reporting to the Manager of Analytics, you'll use your expertise to inform strategic decisions across product optimization, technology, testing, and overall quality.
What You'll Do
- Communicate with studio stakeholders to identify opportunities where data can better support decision making
- Work with partners to define the right questions to ask and the right data to use, helping embed data in daily decision-making
- Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Build dashboards, reports, and visualisations that help stakeholders make better, faster decisions
- Contribute to the development of predictive models and other applications of machine learning that personalise player experiences or support product decisions
- Explore and apply generative AI tools to increase the efficiency of your own work and support scalable insights
What You'll Bring
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis or applied analytics, in gaming, mobile apps, or other digital products
- Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets; experience with analysis and modelling in Python or R
- Experience with visualisation tools such as Looker, PowerBI
- Ability to translate business needs into technical data requirements
- Experience with or interest in using machine learning and generative AI tools to support analytics or player insights
- You will use storytelling to convert business objectives into analytical questions, and communicate results with practical recommendations and actionable steps.
Pay Transparency - North AmericaCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$92,900 - $129,200 CAD
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees.
