Transportation Equipment Network (TEN)

👤 Reports To: General Counsel

Transportation Equipment Network (TEN) is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel to join our Legal team. This is a highly visible role that will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and key business stakeholders across the organization.

As TEN continues to grow and innovate, we're looking for a business-minded legal professional who can help accelerate commercial success while effectively managing legal and regulatory risk. You'll play a critical role supporting complex transactions, technology initiatives, strategic partnerships, and company-wide growth objectives.

What You'll Do
Lead Commercial Transactions
  • Draft, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements, including:
    • Customer sales agreements
    • SaaS and software licensing agreements
    • Subscription agreements
    • Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
    • Statements of Work (SOWs)
    • Vendor and procurement contracts
    • Strategic partnership agreements
    • Reseller, referral, distribution, and channel agreements
    • NDAs and confidentiality agreements
    • Professional services agreements
Serve as a Strategic Business Partner
  • Advise leaders on legal issues involving AI, emerging technologies, digital transformation, and data governance.
  • Partner with Sales and Revenue teams on deal strategy, contract negotiations, and risk assessment.
  • Support Procurement on vendor contracting and third-party risk management.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams on product development, licensing, privacy, AI, and commercialization matters.
  • Counsel Marketing on advertising, promotions, sponsorships, and intellectual property usage.
  • Support Customer Success and Operations teams regarding contractual commitments and customer-related matters.
Drive Risk Management & Legal Excellence
  • Identify legal and business risks while delivering practical, business-focused solutions.
  • Advise on intellectual property, branding, and technology transactions.
  • Support privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance initiatives.
  • Assist with due diligence and strategic corporate transactions.
  • Manage outside counsel relationships when needed.
  • Develop contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and scalable legal processes.
  • Train business partners on contracting and legal best practices.
What You'll Bring
• J.D. from an accredited law school
