ABOUT THE ROLE
This is not a support role. The Sr. Copywriter is a creative force who knows what words can do. You know the difference between copy that sells and copy that sticks. And you write the kind that does both.
You bring conceptual range, cultural fluency, and a disruptor's instinct to everything you touch. You write across every format and channel with a voice that is distinctly SharkNinja: confident, direct, and impossible to ignore. You do not wait to be briefed. You see the idea and you chase it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Concept and write bold, original campaigns across video, social, digital, OOH, retail, and experiential. Work that earns attention and holds it.
• Develop and write scripts for all touchpoints including social content, video, product launches, and creator-driven formats with the same creative ambition across all of them.
• Translate complex product stories into copy that feels effortless and human. Make technical innovation exciting to anyone, anywhere.
• Partner with Art Directors, Creative Directors, and designers to develop fully formed campaign ideas, not just headlines attached to a concept.
• Write for global audiences while staying locally relevant. Understand how tone, humor, and cultural context shift across markets.
• Bring a point of view into every brief. Push back when the thinking is not sharp enough. Make every draft sharper than the last.
• Stay ahead of platform trends, cultural conversations, and emerging content formats. Bring those instincts to the work before anyone has to ask.
WHAT YOU BRING
• 6+ years of copywriting experience at a creative agency, in-house team, or equivalent, with a portfolio that shows both conceptual range and executional craft.
• Proven ability to write across formats: long-form, short-form, social, video scripts, retail copy, digital campaigns, and experiential. You do not specialize in just one lane.
• A genuine conceptor. You come in with ideas, not just words. You think in campaigns, not executions.
• Cultural fluency and the ability to write with voice, wit, and relevance. You understand what resonates right now and you know how to use that without chasing trends.
• Experience writing for global audiences with an understanding of how tone and messaging adapt across markets without losing its edge.
• Strong visual thinking. You can collaborate with a creative partner or hold your own in a visual conversation because you understand how copy and design work together.
• Comfort working at speed. Creative Labs moves fast. You thrive in that environment, not just survive it.
• A collaborator's mindset and a competitor's standard. You want the work to be great, not just done.
• Experience using AI tools as a creative accelerant, not a replacement for original thinking.
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience writing for CPG, consumer electronics, home goods, or lifestyle brands.
• Familiarity with creator economy content formats and influencer collaboration briefs.
Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

$93,600-$155,500 USD
