Critical Mass

Job Function:
Creative

Job Subfunction:
Copywriting

Job Description:
This role is for someone with rich copywriting experience and demonstrable skills of a growing creative leader. You are virtuosic in your craft, capable of delivering on any number of creative asks with speed, accuracy and style. Confident in your copy, you've begun your initial journey into creative leadership.

A successful senior creative knows how to bring the magic, but can also step up to help steer a project to where it needs to go. You have been on enough work to know what comes next, and what questions to ask throughout. You are comfortable being a critical independent contributor or guiding light within a larger team.

We need you for your talent, your perspective, and your experience. We don't care where you've been, only where you want to go.

You will:
Love digital. A lot. Social, web, AI, gaming. You don't have to be an expert, but you do have to care.

Drive in the development of creative ideas that help solve client briefs, both solo and with creative partners.

Write clear, compelling copy that supports campaign objectives and resonates with target audiences. Self-edit and incorporate feedback and revisions into existing work and ideas.

Stay on top of cultural trends, technology developments and audience insights as they pertain to the work.

Stay informed about copywriting best practices and industry developments.

Work with team leads and career developers to grow your understanding of the business.

Collaborate closely across disciplines with art directors, designers, and other specialists to solve stated and anticipated client needs.

Seamlessly move from brief kickoff to having work high caliber enough to share in a creative review.

You have:
Thought about creative opportunities with new technology, such as AI agents or automated workflows.

Developed and mentored other creatives both by proximity and through official channels.

Experience working with production vendors including but not limited to: video production, video editing, voiceover and mix.

The ability to present, defend and sell creative work internally and externally.

Written for many mediums and in many tones of voice. Headlines come to you in your sleep. Post copy is your middle name. Scripts flow from you like your favorite story to tell at parties.

The ability to spot a strong insight and/or big idea.

The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without losing the quality of the work.

3 years of agency experience.
