What You will Do:

Role Summary/Purpose

In the position of Network and HMI Engineer you will enter an exciting career field where you will assist in the engineering of systems that protect and operate power plant controls. This position we are seeking a experienced Network, Virtualization and Cyber engineer to be a part of part of global team, who can design, configure and troubleshoot complex networks independently. Ideal candidate brings good deep domain knowledge and a passion for innovation new things. In this role, you will:

Essential Responsibilities
  • Design and configure OT Network Architecture and apply cyber security controls.
  • implement network segmentation using the OT Purdue model.
  • Have knowledge on network technologies to design, configure and manage HSRP, QOS, RSTP, AAA, Standard & Extended ACLs, SNMP, Switch Stacking, Port Mirroring.
  • Have knowledge on UTMs Fortinet, Palo alto, Cisco ASA technologies like HA, Policies, DAP, Radius, NAT, Transparent.
  • Have knowledge on Windows technologies design, configure and manage like account management, Active directory, DNS, DHCP, NPS, Group Policies, Certificate administration, external domain replication.
  • Have knowledge on Virtualization design, configure and manage ESXI host in Standalone, 2-Node cluster, and 2-Node Cluster, VSAN, VCenter, High availability, Networking (standard switches & disturbed switches).
  • Have knowledge on cyber modules to configure and manage backup solutions - Acronis & VEEAM, Log management - Splunk & SIEM, Patch management - Ivanti & WSUS Application controls - Trellix EPO, DLP solutions - Trellix, IDS solutions - Nozomi & TrendMicro, Remote operations - Xona.
  • Have knowledge on NERC CIP, ISA/IEC 62443, NIST standards and Countries specific local compliance.
  • Have moderate knowledge on risk Management, Operational stability, access control, Incident response.
  • Ability to work complex problem and resolve independently.
  • Understands and able to do Patch management.
  • Able to train, Guide, create/improve Work instructions, procedures.
  • Provide technical support to software engineers in meeting customer needs on HMI applications.
  • Support Engineering Services field personnel in technical resolution of field problems.

Work Experience
  • Handle multiple projects / activities.
  • Be accountable for on-time schedule performance, project milestones, customer deliverables, and compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Provide assistance with quality assurance on projects.
  • Review and interpret customer specifications.
  • Perform hardware selection of system control components for HMI solutions.
  • Travel both domestically and internationally approximately 10% of the time, as required.

What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally approximately 10% of the time.

Desired Characteristics
  • Have knowledge on OT protocols to configure and manage like OPC, IEC-60870-101, IEC-60870-104, IEC-61850, DNP3, GSM, MODBUS, GOOSE.
  • Have knowledge on configure and manage Historian PI and Proficy, able to migrate PI - to - PI (Gap & Gapless) and Proficy - to - Proficy (Gap & Gapless)
  • Moderate knowledge on SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, Controllers & Protection replays.
  • Background in HMI application software including Proficy Cimplicity and Historian based products.
  • Working knowledge of Visio
  • Demonstrated interest in or experience working in the industrial controls or power generation industry.
  • Strong computer skills: experience setting up Windows based applications including Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2012 and proficiency in standard MS Office applications.
  • Technical skills in engineering design and construction practices
  • Proven team player with solid cooperation, flexibility and demonstrated capacity to learn complex information quickly.
  • Hands-on experience programming GE Mark VI turbine control and Cimplicity HMI software
  • Field experience in related equipment
  • Certifications CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, CompTIA A+/Network+

Good oral and written communication skills

Pay Range: $100000 to $130000 a year

Job Type: Full-time
