Full Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE

The Senior Contract Analyst for Baltimore Aircoil Company will work directly with our customers and sales representatives to expedite the tactical portions of customer agreements. The process includes tracking of contract status, review of content, the identification of legal issues for finalization and contract agreement. This person will have significant responsibility to reduce Baltimore Aircoil's potential legal liability while maximizing sales opportunities.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Review and negotiate purchase order terms and conditions with customers and through sales representatives to obtain terms most favorable to BAC while adhering to company policy.
  • Enforce BAC policies to reduce and mitigate business risks and explain the policies and procedures to the Sales Rep offices as needed
  • Respond to customer needs and concerns with empathy and a sense of urgency.
  • Verify accuracy of entered orders as compared to the purchase order.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Construction Industry, specifically regarding evaluating contract language to define scope and commercial risks.
  • Articulate and negotiate in a reasonable, assertive, convincing and fair manner, while balancing commercial considerations with business risk.
  • Effectively communicate with customers while fostering a positive customer experience that encourages retention and repeat business.
  • Responsible for supply of insurance certificates on a job specific contractual basis, and as needed for high priority warranty support
  • Initiate new customer blanket terms and conditions agreements, maintain customer agreements and renew as needed.
  • And other duties as assigned.

NATURE AND SCOPE

The Senior Contract Analyst will report to the Contract Manager - North America. This position is expected to interact with various functional areas Managers and Directors as needed including but not limited to BAC Sales Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Sales Representatives and customers. This position will lead assigned contract reviews and approvals of in the North America Contracts worklist.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5+ years of previous negotiations or contracting experience, or construction contracting experience required
  • Possess excellent customer service skills with strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong ability to understand and interpret legal contract wording and phrasing.
  • Must have demonstrated organizational skills while working independently to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated analysis and summarization/reporting abilities.
  • Prior experience with Contract Management Systems and AI redlining tools is desired.

BAC Hiring Compensation Range $63,500 - $108,800
