Senior Consultant (Test Consultant) (full-time; multiple openings) needed in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to develop, design, and monitor execution of test strategies/plans, scenarios, and procedures. Coordinate efforts of lower-level team members guiding them in the process. Gather and analyze business and technical requirements for customization. Design and develop tools and testing programs to identify issues and create repeatable test automation models to reduce manual testing requirements for test team. Involved in all phases of the testing process (acceptance testing of requirements, system and integration testing of system design, and program and module testing). Conduct impact and gap analysis and participate in issue resolution. Ensure quality throughout design and implementation process and tracking progress in accordance with project scope/delivery date. Perform software testing and debugging of existing systems. Develop test scripts and perform code reviews. Identify software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers. Research and log root cause analysis for the reported bugs and ensure resolution and final testing. Develop test cases and test scenarios and interpret test results in relation to acceptance criteria.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Business, Engineering (any), Math, Information Technology, or related field, plus two (2) years of IT experience. Must have one (1) year of IT testing experience using one of the following skill sets:
JIRA, Selenium, and Guidewire Policy Center in Insurance domain; ORJIRA, VS Code, and Fiserv OPTIS and VisionPLUS card processing platforms.
In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent), we will accept three (3) years of post-secondary study in any field, plus three (3) years of IT experience. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs. International travel not required. Travel not to exceed 5% / year for meetings and to complete assigned projects of varying lengths. Telecommuting may be permitted as needed.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $88,088.00 - $178,290.00.
