What you’ll be doing

Global Money Operations’, Payments Transformation Team helps synthesize technology and process strategy across channels, products, and multiple businesses for CIBC employees. As a Senior Consultant you're excited about the future of payments at CIBC. This role facilitates strategy and insight into High Value Payments program and drives coordination and alignment. You will ensure our Business delivery supports compliance, regulatory and business requirements from an ISO/MX business perspective. You will be joining a team of ambitious, like-minded payment enthusiasts who are passionate about the intersection of business, strategy and project delivery. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environments and are able to balance assertion and patience along with perseverance

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you’ll succeed

  • Subject Matter Expert - Experience working with MT standards as well as ISO20022 message translations.

  • Business Analysis - Collaborate with business partners to gather and document complex business requirements by leading discussions, identifying scope, and defining appropriate solutions. Prepare and validate comprehensive business requirements to address both business objectives and technical considerations

  • Relationship Management - Build and foster strong business focused relationships through ongoing collaboration and regular touchpoints with key Stakeholders.

  • Production Testing - Streamlining production processes and managed outcomes validation.
