--What will your typical day look like?Our team serves clients in the financial services industry to strengthen their nonfinancial risk management programs, including regulatory compliance risk and operational risk and operational resilience, in response to regulatory expectations, emerging risks, and business transformation. We help organizations design and embed scalable frameworks, processes, and controls to protect value and enable growth across their organization.
As a Senior Consultant, you will work in a collaborative team environment to analyze and address key risk and regulatory challenges for some of the largest, most interesting, and systemically important organizations in the financial services industry. You will have the opportunity as an engagement team member to work alongside industry experts to develop outputs that help our clients better manage non-financial and regulatory risks.
To serve clients with distinction, you will develop your subject matter expertise over a broad range of capabilities, including but not limited to:
- Key principles of effective risk management (e.g., risk assessments, controls, monitoring and testing);
- Various regulatory and operational risk types (e.g., consumer protection, market integrity); and
- Dynamic range of client profiles across the financial services industry (e.g., large and medium-sized institutions in banking, capital markets, investment management, insurance)
The successful candidate will have responsibility to:
- Contribute to the delivery of end to end engagements related to non-financial risk (e.g., regulatory compliance risk, operational risk/resilience) to provide value and address our clients' objectives
- Support the design and development of pragmatic solutions to address clients' risk and regulatory needs taking into consideration emerging data and technology capabilities, as well as global leading practices
- Support our clients by delivering exceptional value and enhancing the insights provided by our work
- Participate in a diverse team of talented resources, consistently learning and developing to reach your highest potential
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key Deloitte and client contacts
- Develop your expertise in a non-financial risk specialization and your reputation as a business advisor
- Employ exceptional time management and organization skills to ensure client satisfaction and project profitability
- Contribute to practice growth, business development, and go to market activities relating to FSI risk and regulatory consulting
- Support development of Points of View, White Papers and solutions we can offer to our clients to help them achieve their goals

Enough about us, let's talk about youYou are someone who has: / You are someone with:
- 4+ years of relevant experience; consulting experience, experience working in financial services related to regulatory and non-financial risk matters (e.g., operational risk/resilience, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management), and/or experience dealing with/working for financial services regulatory bodies in Canada is preferred
- Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Accounting, Law, Business Administration, Finance, Law, Accounting, Engineering or other similar disciplines
- A passion for solving problems with a lens of thoughtful innovation and making an impact related to regulatory and risk matters in the financial services industry
- Strong problem solving and critical reasoning skills with ability to synthesize information and deal with a wide range of complex issues related to regulatory and risk matters
- Exceptional planning and organization skills with ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Willingness to travel to client locations, as required
- US non-financial risk and regulatory experience is an asset
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $84,000 - $126,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
