SUMMARY STATEMENT

This is a unique opportunity to join NMG Consulting as a key member of our consulting and research team, specifically within our Eastbridge Consulting practice. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering industry-leading research, managing strategic industry relationships, maintaining proprietary market intelligence, and supporting Eastbridge's thought leadership and market presence.

The role combines end-to-end research project delivery with responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships with insurance carrier partners across the employee benefits industry. Working closely with and senior colleagues within the organization and external clients, the individual will take ownership of Eastbridge's extensive carrier data assets, be the key contact with Information Partner clients in the Voluntary Benefits space, develop actionable market insights, contribute to consulting engagements, and support marketing initiatives designed to increase the firm's visibility and influence.

Success in this position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical abilities, excellent relationship management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a genuine interest in the employee benefits, insurance, and workplace benefits industries. Over time, this individual will become a trusted source of market intelligence and play a key role in ensuring the continuity and growth of Eastbridge's research capabilities and industry partnerships.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

Industry Relations & Data Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carrier partners and key industry stakeholders.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for carrier participation in Eastbridge research programs.
  • Coordinate data requests, monitor submissions, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of carrier data.
  • Take ownership of Eastbridge's carrier profiles, benchmarking tools, and research repositories.
  • Ensure consulting teams have access to timely, accurate, and actionable industry data.
  • Lead efforts to identify and implement improvements to data collection processes, reporting capabilities, and research participation.
  • Document and maintain key research processes to support long-term continuity and scalability.


Research & Insights

  • Deliver end-to-end research projects, including:
    • Survey development and management
    • Research execution and project management
    • Data collection and validation
    • Quantitative and qualitative analysis
    • Insight development
    • Report creation and recommendations
    • Presentation development and support
  • Support market, carrier, employer, advisor, and distributor research initiatives.
  • Maintain and enhance Eastbridge's proprietary research methodologies, databases, and market intelligence assets.
  • Play an active role in annual research planning and prioritization efforts.
  • Develop meaningful insights that support consulting engagements, subscription products, and thought leadership initiatives.


Consulting Support

  • Own consulting engagements through research, analysis, and preparation of client deliverables.
  • Develop client-ready presentations, market assessments, strategic evaluations, and recommendations. Play an active role in client meetings and presentations, confidently communicating findings, insights, and recommendations to senior audiences.
  • Help ensure standard consulting decks, market updates, and research-based materials remain current.
  • Maintain industry and carrier intelligence resources used across consulting projects.


Marketing & Thought Leadership

  • Support Eastbridge's marketing and business development initiatives through the creation and distribution of research-driven content.
  • Draft and coordinate LinkedIn posts highlighting market trends, research findings, conference participation, and company updates.
  • Develop outreach emails, research invitations, newsletters, and client communications.
  • Contribute to the development of articles, white papers, press releases, blog content, and conference materials.
  • Help expand awareness of Eastbridge's research offerings, subscription products, and consulting capabilities.
  • Monitor industry developments and proactively identify topics for thought leadership and market commentary.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Degree concentration in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Marketing, Insurance, Communications, or a related field preferred.


Experience

  • 5-8+ years of professional experience in market research, consulting, insurance, employee benefits, financial services, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience managing professional relationships with external stakeholders preferred.
  • Experience conducting research, managing surveys, analyzing data, or producing industry insights preferred.
  • Experience creating professional written content, thought leadership, or digital marketing content is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and experience in the employee voluntary benefits industry required.
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing projects or workstreams, including coordinating stakeholders, structuring analysis, and delivering high-quality outputs to senior audiences.
  • Experience presenting findings and recommendations to clients or senior stakeholders preferred.

Pay Transparency

The anticipated base salary range for this position is USD $95,000-$135,000. Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
