Are you a motivated, energetic, and ready to take your career to the next level? We are looking for a Senior Construction Inspector to be part of a growing team building B&N's Construction Service practice in Indianapolis.

B&N Senior Construction Inspector Responsibilities:
  • Monitor work of contractors to ensure quality control and contract compliance for roadway, structure, and bridge construction
  • Monitor contractor's operations to ensure compliance with contract terms and specifications
  • Provide general inspection on construction labor and subcontracted tasks
  • Provide report of assigned work activities, contractor labor and equipment, and quantity of materials received
  • Ensure construction methods and procedures are followed and that materials incorporated into project conform to the project material specifications
  • Perform on-site material testing and verification
  • Calibrate and maintain testing equipment
  • Create and compile close out/final construction records documents for submission
  • Assist in the documentation of as-built record drawings
  • Assist in the writing of technical reports summarizing inspection findings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years' construction-related experience
  • All required jurisdictional certificates and statement requirements
  • All 6 INDOT Certified Technician courses
  • INDOT Qualified Testing Proficiencies Capable
  • Valid state driver's license
  • INDOT SiteManager and AWP software experience preferred
