Full Job Description
The Position:

This position is awaiting contract award.

We are seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Senior Configuration Management Analyst to lead configuration governance and data management strategy for the H-53 variants program at NAS Patuxent River.

In this senior role, you will establish and oversee rigorous configuration baselines, act as a primary advisor for technical data management, and steer complex change control processes. Your expertise will directly safeguard the technical integrity, compliance, and long-term deployment readiness of naval heavy-lift aviation assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish, monitor, and enforce strict configuration control over baseline acquisition products, technical architectures, and extensive datasets relating to aircraft and product programs.
  • Lead the comprehensive collection, synthesis, and evaluation of multi-faceted engineering and acquisition data streams to identify risks and baseline variances.
  • Oversee and drive the strategic development, high-level technical review, and multi-agency coordination of complex Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
  • Architect and manage advanced configuration tracking frameworks to maintain precise records of physical and functional modifications over the platform lifecycle.
  • Enforce and optimize government-instituted directives for formal technical data management, document control lifecycles, and change management procedures.
  • Serves as a primary technical advisor and liaison during Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), engineering review panels, and stakeholder synchronization meetings.


Qualifications:

  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance to access the airfield and military installation.
  • Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MS) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Over 10 years of progressive experience in configuration control, change management, or defense data analysis performing the functional duties described above.
  • Mastery of military configuration management standards (such as MIL-HDBK-61A) and a deep understanding of NAVAIR engineering change workflows and program office (PMA) structures.
  • Elite analytical and problem-solving capabilities, exceptional technical drafting skills, and the leadership presence required to guide cross-functional teams in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
