The Senior Compensation Analyst supports the design and administration of key compensation programs including base compensation, variable compensation, market pricing, and job architecture. This employee-facing role ensures effective day-to-day compensation operations, accurate data management, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze internal and external compensation data to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
- Participate in compensation surveys and benchmark jobs against market data.
- Support the development and maintenance of salary structures, pay ranges, and incentive programs.
- Conduct job evaluations and partner with HR and business leaders on job leveling and pay decisions.
- Assist with the annual compensation planning process, including merit increases, bonuses, and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation regulations (e.g., FLSA, pay transparency laws).
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership on compensation trends and recommendations.
- Audit compensation data for accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Support pay equity analyses and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with HRIS, Finance, and Talent teams on compensation-related initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 6-8+ years of compensation experience.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling).
- Experience with compensation surveys.
- Knowledge of compensation principles and applicable labor laws.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
