Oracle GDI - Government Defense & Intelligence is looking for a Senior Cloud Account Manager responsible for Government accounts focusing the Intelligence Community.

This is a hybrid position and requires a candidate based in the VA/DC area

Responsibilities

About the opportunity (What you will do)

This role will be responsible for selling Oracle Cloud solutions to the Intelligence Community. This role will own building and executing a growth plan to increase cloud adoption exponentially YoY in the appropriate cloud regions applicable to your agency's mission. The primary job duty is to build a partnership and serve as a client advocate for your customer while positioning Oracle cloud to meet the mission of the customer. This role will also be responsible for managing your territory through the entire sales process, to include business development, shaping opportunities for Oracle Cloud, prospecting, contract negotiations, and post-sales support. This role will leverage the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. This role will also be working with a cross functional team that includes, capture and business development, software, consulting, and hardware. This role has experience and domain expertise to deliver Oracle solutions to customers within the Defense Intelligence Community.

In this role, you will understand Dev/Sec/Ops models and be responsible to provide Oracle IaaS and PaaS solutions to mission critical problems. Your success in this role will mean you are able to leverage the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. The successful candidate will build and expand business partner and system integrator relationships and help identify mutual benefits from the partnership.

What you will bring (requirements)
  • 10+ years field sales experience including technology sales experience, or other applicable experience is required, as is the ability to forecast, manage sales expenses, and successfully close new Oracle business.
  • Strong understanding of the within the Defense intelligence community.
  • Business development, prospecting and presentation skills, excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Candidates for consideration will bring a proven track record of exceeding sales quota and territory/account development and will have experience as the focal point for clients for all sales and related issues.
  • Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors is helpful. Must have ability and willingness to rapidly learn Oracle Cloud technology.
  • Travel may be needed.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $110,000 to $194,400 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
