Job Description:

Microchip is looking for a dynamic Senior Client Engagement Manager (CEM) to drive revenue growth within a select group of major Storage, Data Center, Communications, and hyperscale OEM customers located in San Jose, CA. This is a customer-facing semiconductor sales role responsible for developing strategic account plans, expanding executive and engineering relationships, identifying new design-win opportunities, and converting engagements into measurable revenue. This is an in-office role that includes regular visits to customers.

Responsibilities include:
  • Deepen and expand Microchip's relationships at the assigned strategic account(s) across all levels of the organization.
  • Be the primary point of contact for all matters related for the assigned key accounts.
  • Understand the customer's business objectives, roadmaps, systems, and competitive landscape and apply that to Microchip's growth strategy.
  • Take overall responsibility to ensure Microchip provides exemplary service.
  • Work in a team environment and coordinate between product marketing, engineering operations, legal, and executive management.
  • Use in-house systems and software tools to help manage our business accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 7+ years of semiconductor or electronic component sales. Experience supporting data center, storage, server, networking customers preferred.
  • Prior experience managing and building partnerships at large accounts
  • Able to work proficiently in both autonomous and team environments
  • Systems proficiency - CRM, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint..
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • This is an in-office role that includes regular visits to customers.
