Full Job Description
Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to work in the National Capital Region covering the Pentagon, Falls Church, and Fairfax. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

The War Data Platform (WDP) is a key initiative within the U.S. Department of War's (DoW) AI-First strategy introduced in early 2026. The WDP focuses on operational warfighting data and aims to accelerate the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) on the battlefield. The WDP extends to Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret environments, and supports collaboration between Combatant Commands, Joint Staff directorates, Senior Executive Service leaders, and operational analysts.
• This role leads operations and validation of AI and machine-learning model-serving pipelines across Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret mission environments, sustaining enterprise delivery reliability and enclave-parity configuration management across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS for WDP Core Integration model deployment workflows.
• Leads operations and validation of artificial intelligence and machine-learning model-serving pipelines across Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret mission environments, advancing enterprise delivery reliability for War Data Platform (WDP) Core Integration model deployment workflows.
• Operates enclave-specific pipeline executions, validates artifact behavior under enclave constraints, and maintains technical parity across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS environments through coordinated configuration management, dependency alignment, and security control consistency.
• Executes five to ten model or service promotions per month across multiple networks using cross-domain transfer mechanisms, release orchestration patterns, and enclave-tailored packaging logic meeting mission assurance standards.
• Implements automated scanning, packaging, and deployment workflows using GitLab CI, Argo Workflows, Kubernetes, container hardening tools, software composition analysis platforms, and model artifact registries to detect vulnerabilities, integration bottlenecks, and configuration deviations.
• Integrates test and evaluation gates into deployment workflows to maintain developmental rigor, reliability, and operational readiness of production-serving components.
• Collaborates with platform engineering, cybersecurity engineering, and cross-domain solution teams to coordinate enclave-specific deployments and resolve constraints affecting artifact mobility and network interoperability.
• Provides Tier-4 support for defect remediation, deployment failures, security scanning anomalies, and enclave-specific incidents within SIPR and JWICS operational pipelines.
• Develops release documentation, enclave architecture mappings, operational diagrams, and reliability metrics that strengthen model-serving resilience, accelerate deployment throughput, and advance War Data Platform (WDP) Core Integration program value across all mission networks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Current Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• Minimum 10 years of experience operating, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise CI/CD pipelines within classified or federal multi-enclave environments.
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise with pipeline and container orchestration tooling-including GitLab CI, Argo Workflows, and Kubernetes-with proven ability to implement automated scanning, hardening, and packaging workflows for AI/ML model artifacts across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS environments.
• Proven experience executing cross-domain model and service promotions, including management of enclave-tailored packaging logic, release orchestration, and cross-domain transfer mechanisms at monthly release cadence.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate test and evaluation gates into deployment pipelines and provide Tier-4 incident support for deployment failures, scanning anomalies, and enclave-specific pipeline defects.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate solution.
• Highly developed interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally interact with a diverse set of stakeholders (from peers to end-users to executive management).
