Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with BS or MS degree; 2+ years with PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Chemical Engineering
• Hands-on experience in polymer chemistry or thermoplastic polymer formulation
• Strong presentation and technical writing skills
• Proficient in DOE and Design FEMA methodologies
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from Idea Proposal to Product Release
• Independently develop new products based on customer specifications
• Create DOE and Design FEMA documentation for product development
• Engage in long-term product and technology planning
• Establish QA requirements to ensure product quality
• Transfer new products and technologies to the Processing group
• Conduct material testing and secure customer material approvals
• Provide technical support to manufacturing for quality assurance
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and notebook practices
• Publish proposals and progress reports related to projects
• Visit customer sites to deliver technical solutions
• Attend technical presentations from raw material suppliers
• Ensure a safe and organized work environment
• Train junior staff and new employees as needed.
