Full Job Description
Overview

The Senior Campaign Portfolio Manager is responsible for driving the campaign portfolio strategy, investment governance, prioritization, and campaign planning rhythms across the Creative & Production organization. This role serves as the integration layer connecting campaign strategy, creative development, production, operations, agency management, budgeting, measurement, and leadership decision-making.

The Senior Campaign Portfolio Manager helps transform the organization from managing individual projects and requests to managing a portfolio of strategic campaign investments. By creating visibility across initiatives, establishing governance frameworks, optimizing resource allocation, and driving portfolio prioritization, this role ensures the organization is investing in the highest-impact opportunities aligned to business objectives. This directly supports the broader vision of evolving from a function-led organization to a portfolio-led operating model focused on business outcomes, investment stewardship, and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Campaign Portfolio Strategy & Investment Planning
  • Own the end-to-end campaign portfolio strategy across Creative & Production campaign investments, programs, and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive campaign portfolio view spanning all major business priorities, investments, and workstreams.
  • Partner with organizational leadership to define strategic priorities, investment decisions, and planning frameworks.
  • Lead annual, quarterly, and monthly portfolio planning processes.
  • Create campaign portfolio roadmaps that provide visibility into priorities, dependencies, investments, risks, and expected business outcomes.
  • Ensure investments remain aligned to organizational goals, business impact objectives, and available resources.

Portfolio Prioritization & Investment Management
  • Design and own the organization's portfolio investment framework, including investment categories, prioritization models, funding approaches, and governance processes.
  • Establish clear investment categories across growth, customer advocacy, brand, events, product launches, strategic partnerships, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Create and manage prioritization frameworks that evaluate initiatives based on strategic alignment, business impact, customer value, organizational capacity, risk, and return on investment.
  • Lead leadership discussions and tradeoff decisions when demand exceeds available resources.
  • Recommend investment allocation strategies and portfolio funding distributions across business priorities.
  • Continuously assess portfolio performance and recommend acceleration, expansion, optimization, consolidation, or retirement of investments.
  • Drive a disciplined investment approach that concentrates resources against the organization's highest-value opportunities.
  • Shift prioritization from stakeholder demand and project volume toward measurable business impact and strategic value.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in portfolio management, business management, strategy, consulting, operations, program management, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional planning, prioritization, and governance processes.
  • Analytical, financial, operational, and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing executive business reviews, planning frameworks, and decision-support materials.
  • Background in management consulting, business operations, corporate strategy, PMO leadership, or portfolio management.
  • Expertise in resource planning, capacity modeling, financial management, organizational design, and business transformation.
  • Experience creating investment scorecards, prioritization frameworks, and executive dashboard reporting.
