Senior Buyer
Division: Weir Minerals
Location: Candler, Florida
What you’ll do
- Sourcing & Supplier Management: Own end-to-end procurement and supplier management, including negotiations, contracts, and RFQs/RFPs, ensuring optimal cost, quality, service levels, and supply continuity.
- Inventory Planning & Forecasting: Drive demand planning and inventory optimization through forecasting, MRP, and cross-functional alignment to ensure balanced stock levels, capacity planning, and efficient material flow.
- Logistics Coordination: Support inbound logistics and supply coordination to ensure timely material availability for operations and capital projects.
- Continuous Improvement & Performance Management: Lead process improvements across supply chain functions, addressing performance gaps, optimizing KPIs, and enhancing service, efficiency, and cost outcomes.
- Stakeholder Communication & Alignment: Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, aligning on supply-demand needs, performance metrics, and strategic objectives.

What you’ll bring
Must-haves:
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years’ experience working in Purchasing or Supply Chain.
- Proven procurement and supplier management skills, including negotiation and contract management.
- Strong SAP experience.
- Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate clearly with vendors and internal teams, with shop floor and manufacturing environment exposure.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with Power BI.
