Job Description:

[MULTIPLE POSITIONS] Avanade Inc is seeking a Senior D365F&O Manufacturing Consultant in Houston, TX to be part of Avanade’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) team. As part of this team, you will: collect information, analyze requirements, solve business process problems, and provide technical and operational support to Avanade’s clients who are implementing Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 ERP system (D365F&O); lead the D365F&O Manufacturing workstream in our clients’ ERP implementations; match business processes to application requirements, transform business requirements into an implementation model and document D365F&O configurations in an application model; lead the prototyping and configuration of the applicable processes within D365F&O to ensure that the ERP system works with respect to our clients’ needs; lead workshops with our clients, consultants, and client leaders to analyze and design solutions and handle gaps in D365F&O detected during prototyping; work with the Avanade ERP technical team to help design, develop, and test custom solutions that have been approved by our clients to address specific gaps within D365F&O and in third party applications and services; lead the creation or refinement of our clients’ business process hierarchies within their business process models so that functional and non-functional requirements are identified and linked; document settings in D365F&O and prepare our clients to use their ERP system; and support our clients with the testing, acceptance and deployment of their ERP system into day-to-day operational use. Periodic travel to client sites (domestic and international) is expected up to 80% of the time. Must live within reasonable commuting distance of Houston, TX.

Compensation at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Avanade provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below. The offered salary range for this specific position in TX is $149,718-$150,800 per year. Any multi-state or general compensation ranges displayed below do not apply to this position.

Basic Qualifications:

The position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or closely related field. Employer will accept a bachelor’s equivalent based on a combination of education and experience as determined by a professional evaluation service. In addition, the position requires at least seven (7) years of experience as a Senior D365F&O Manufacturing Consultant, or in a similar role in a technology or IT consulting environment. A qualified applicant's experience must include the following skills: 5 years of experience in implementing Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or earlier versions of Dynamics AX; 5 years of experience performing Application Lifecycle Management using Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Services or preparing Fit Gap analysis and functional design documents for client users; 3 years of experience in the ERP manufacturing business domain covering all manufacturing and supply chain modules within D365; 3 years of experience leading manufacturing and supply chain workstreams with accountability for the ownership of supply chain business processes; 3 years of experience running workshops with clients, consultants and client leaders to analyze and design solutions for any application, and handle gaps detected during prototyping; 4 years of experience leading the design of functional components related to Manufacturing and Supply chain processes during the presales and serving as an expert on capabilities and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365; 4 years of experience designing, building and demonstrating scenario flows with Microsoft Dynamics 365 aligned to the client’s business team’s key requirements; and 4 years of experience providing input on estimating the functional workstream for any implementation and support projects and advising the delivery team during the functional solution design.
