We have an opportunity for a Senior Buyer to join our team and play a key role in supporting procurement initiatives at the site and global levels. This position focuses on cost savings, supplier quality, and risk mitigation while managing indirect spend and supporting new product launches. The Senior Buyer will collaborate across functions to drive continuous improvement and build strong supplier relationships that meet the needs of the Manassas site.

Location: Manassas, VA
100% Onsite

• Identify and support site-level and global procurement initiatives for cost savings, contract opportunities, supplier quality, and risk mitigation of single-sourced material.
• Participate in and support new product and program launches to influence sourcing decisions and purchase materials as needed to meet project timelines.
• Manage site indirect spend.
• Perform routine deep spend analysis to understand spend variance and find cost reduction opportunities through collaboration with Category Management.
• Participate in or lead cross-functional initiatives to reduce cost and improve quality for internal and external customers.
• Develop key supplier relationships to serve the local site’s needs.
• 10% global travel expectations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a similar area.
• Minimum five years of material planning or directly related Procurement/Supply Chain experience.

• Experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.
• Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, including JDE and Sag.
• Experience in developing and implementing processes, procedures, and systems.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience.
