Position OverviewAs a Senior Business Systems Analyst within PNC's Retail Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH.
The Senior Business Systems Analyst serves as a strategic partner between business stakeholders and technology teams, leading the analysis, design, implementation, and optimization of business systems and processes. This role is responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, driving process improvements, and supporting enterprise initiatives that enhance efficiency, user experience, and organizational performance.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, experience managing cross-functional projects, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels while ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
020 Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
020 Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews.
020 Document, analyze, prioritize, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.
020 Develop process maps, workflows, use cases, user stories, and business requirements documentation.
020 Ensure requirements are clearly communicated to technical teams and aligned with business goals.
Systems Analysis & Solution Design
020 Evaluate current systems, processes, and data flows to identify improvement opportunities.
020 Recommend technology solutions that optimize business operations and support strategic objectives.
020 Collaborate with architects, developers, and vendors to design and implement system enhancements.
020 Assess impacts of proposed changes and develop implementation recommendations.
020 Support solution testing, validation, and deployment activities.
Project & Stakeholder Management
020 Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and third-party vendors.
020 Lead requirements activities across multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
020 Facilitate decision-making and issue resolution among diverse stakeholder groups.
020 Provide regular project status updates and communicate risks, dependencies, and recommendations.
020 Support change management and user adoption efforts.
Data Analysis & Reporting
020 Analyze data and business metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
020 Create dashboards, reports, and business insights that support informed decision-making.
020 Ensure data integrity, consistency, and adherence to governance standards.
020 Develop recommendations based on analytical findings.
Continuous Improvement
020 Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
020 Promote best practices in business analysis, requirements management, and system implementation.
020 Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of the business analysis function.
020 Support enterprise transformation and digital modernization initiatives.
Qualifications
020 Experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements.
020 Strong understanding of business process analysis and system implementations.
020 Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
020 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
020 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
020 Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
020 Experience supporting enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, HRIS, or Finance platforms.
020 Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools.
020 Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
020 Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent.
020 Experience leading large-scale business transformation initiatives.

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
