POSITION: Senior Business Operations Specialist
JOB LOCATION: 1501 LBJ Freeway, Suite 140, Dallas, TX 75234 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may telecommute]
Senior Business Operations Specialist needed by o9 Solutions, Inc. in Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may telecommute ]to Participate in process and business requirements sessions with client and document to-be business process leveraging industry best practices. Work with
clients to identify and collect data, such as historical sales, shipment, inventory, logistics, and other operations / supply chain data from sources like databases, Excel sheets, emails, and others. Ability to convert business logic to technical platform design, including knowledge of platform infrastructure. Work
closely with architects and directors to develop clear functional and technical design, document data requirements, and build complex datasets. Lead requirement/design sessions with the client, and take ownership of end-to-end solution design. Configure a technical specification document and tool configuration in the o9 platform, as per the design, to solve deep operations / supply chain problems and institute rigorous performance monitoring systems. Use mathematical models, predictive methods, statistical techniques, optimization algorithms and simulations to analyze, manipulate and interpret large enterprise data and provide business insights and data visualization to the client management. Be proficient in statistical and optimization tools and programming languages to conduct data integration through extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) and create models to generate time series forecasts and operational plans. Work with internal Research and Development teams to resolve solution gaps and deploy fixes in the customer environment. Create and execute workflow and data analytics test-cases, document issues, and track progress at resolving issues. Ability to design and implement a testing protocol, with support from junior analysts, with the end goal of automating testing. Work with client, cross-functional teams, and IT and business stakeholders, to ensure successful planning and execution of projects. Plan, develop and deliver Super User and End User training, for a global user base. Lead/assist a team, through the full lifecycle of a supply chain planning solution implementation including business requirement gathering, solution design and development, UAT/SIT, go-live/cutover, and value realization. Assist Solution Architects to track deliverables, manage scope creep, coordinate among different workstreams, and ensure that post go-live support drives measurable benefits for the client. Utilize agile methodology to deliver large scale enterprise implementations. Convert business logic to technical platform design. Collect and convert business requirements to user stories, test cases and solution design. Utilize Statistical, Optimization, and Simulation skills through software tools and packages including Python, R, SAS. Apply knowledge of spreadsheets and software including Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, document processing including Microsoft Word and Google Docs, and presentation including Microsoft PowerPoint. Apply knowledge and training in databases including SQL Server, and MySQL and languages including SQL, MDX, and T-SQL. Apply analytical techniques and data mining knowledge. Handle and process large amounts of data Use SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) purposes of large datasets, to automate and manage data movement between different systems. Use Azure DevOps for Project Planning and Tracking, Sprint Management, User Stories Management. Use ServiceNow platform for Incident and Problem Management. Utilize Project Management experience.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation leading/assisting a team, through the full lifecycle of a supply chain planning solution implementation including business requirement gathering, solution design and development, UAT/SIT, go-live/cutover, and value realization; utilizing agile methodology to deliver large
