Position Summary

The Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain Planning Enablement sits within the Supply Chain Center of Excellence and serves as an analytical and process-oriented resource across the Supply Chain Planning organization. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Planning Enablement, this role combines planning systems proficiency with analytics, process enablement, and structured problem-solving capabilities to help the planning organization operate effectively through system implementation and into steady state operations.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics & Decision Support

  • Develop and maintain planning performance dashboards to support visibility into demand, supply, and inventory metrics.
  • Translate data outputs from Kinaxis into actionable insights that inform tactical and strategic planning cadences. Apply structured problem-solving to planning challenges, diagnosing root causes, and building analytical solutions that address the underlying issue rather than just the symptom.
  • Leverage automation tools to streamline recurring analytical tasks, reduce manual effort, and increase the speed and reliability of planning insights.


Knowledge Management & Training Enablement

  • Build and maintain institutional knowledge assets for the COE, including process documentation and SOPs.
  • Support the development and delivery of training materials that help demand planners, supply planners, and buyers adopt new Kinaxis-enabled ways of working.
  • Identify gaps in process adoption across the planning organization and recommend targeted enablement interventions.
  • Support planning process and system transitions by assessing stakeholder readiness, facilitating communication, and tracking adoption to ensure new ways of working take hold across the planning organization.


Process Enablement & Improvement

  • Partner with the Planning Enablement Director to support strategic planning by surfacing operational patterns and translating weekly planning insights into decision-ready inputs for strategic review cycles.
  • Identify inefficiencies and friction points across planning processes, including demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management .
  • Partner with process owners and the Planning Enablement Director to design and implement improvements that increase planning effectiveness and reduce manual work.


Planning Systems Enablement & Evolution

  • Develop functional proficiency in Kinaxis Maestro, with the ability to navigate the system, interpret outputs, and support planning users in effective daily use.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI-enabled tools and automation within planning processes, partnering with the System Enablement team to advance adoption.
  • Maintain awareness of the planning systems roadmap and ensure analytical work and process documentation stay aligned with evolving system capabilities.
  • Operate within established systems governance boundaries, escalating to the System Enablement team as appropriate.


Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics or related field, or equivalent experience.

Critical Skills

  • 7+ years in supply chain planning, analytics, or process enablement roles.
  • Functional proficiency in Kinaxis Maestro or comparable advanced planning system.
  • Demonstrated experience applying Python or automation tools to streamline workflows.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate planning data and process insights into clear recommendations.
  • Experience developing process documentation, SOPs, and training materials that drive adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management teams.
  • Change management orientation, with experience supporting organizations through system or process transitions.
  • Familiar with continuous improvement methodology such as Six Sigma.


Physical Requirements
  • Traditional office requirements. A large percentage of time performing computer-based work is required.
  • Hybrid role, must live near Las Colinas office.
  • Up to 5% travel.


This role is a hybrid position. The selected candidate is expected to work on-site at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific in-office days may be designated based on team needs and business priorities.
