Senior Business Manager - Talent Marketing
The Talent Marketing team in enterprise HR (eHR) is looking for a Senior Business Manager, Head of Marketing Analytics. In this role, you will lead the team responsible for measuring and managing marketing performance to maximize effectiveness and optimize ROI. You will be responsible for transforming data into the actionable insights that empower our team to execute a best-in-class talent marketing strategy, identifying growth drivers and strategically shifting resources towards our most impactful initiatives. You will also partner closely with product and marketing partners to deliver omni-channel marketing capabilities and drive digital improvements including our AEO/GEO strategy.
Your work will directly influence the marketing direction and investment decisions for Talent Acquisition. This is a highly collaborative role in which you will drive strategic decisions alongside recruiting and marketing partners and work closely with product managers, researchers, project managers and others.
General Responsibilities:
Strategic leadership: Develop business strategies that will drive marketing channel optimization for talent acquisition for Capital One, in the face of ever-evolving market dynamics. Ability to identify underperforming channels and build the business case for strategic pivots, ensuring our investment dollars are always mapped to the highest-return initiatives.
Analytics: Develop and implement new product measurement frameworks, strategies, and attribution models; lead product level data modeling/analytics
Results Orientation: Bring an analytical mindset and frameworks to managing and sequencing delivery of new product and marketing efforts, balancing short and long term goals. Build business requirements and execute against the product strategy. Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently.
People leadership: Ability to attract, develop and retain a high-performing analytical team
Cross-Functional Influence: Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including Marketing, Product, Tech, Recruiting and others to drive improvement in candidate quality and volume and channel ROI. Use data to challenge the status quo and drive agreement on new channel entries or legacy channel exits.
Executive communication: Clear written and oral communication; ability to navigate a complex enterprise environment and influence senior stakeholders to move resources based on analytical findings
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 3 years of experience performing quantitative analysis
At least 3 years of experience performing qualitative analysis
At least 1 year of experience performing people management
At least 1 year of experience performing project management
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis
5+ years of experience in qualitative analysis
2+ years of experience in people management
2+ years of experience in product development
2+ years of experience in financial modeling
2+ years of experience in economic forecasting
2+ years of experience in project management
2+ years of experience in marketing
Experience in developing and/or implementing analytics based in Media Mix Modeling and/or Multi-Touch Attribution principles

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100 for Sr. Business ManagerRichmond, VA: $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Business Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
