The role

The Senior Coordinator, Lateral Partner Integration (Global Support) provides hands-on delivery and coordination support across the firm's global lateral partner integration programme, with a particular focus on supporting each lateral partner's business development initiatives.

Supporting each of the Senior Manager, Lateral Partner Integration (Rest of World or "ROW"), the Senior Manager, Lateral Partner Business Development (US), as well as the Global Head of Lateral Partner Integration, the role supports the structured integration of lateral partners during their first 24 months at the firm. This includes assisting with integration planning, business case coordination and post-hire performance tracking to ensure integration activities are aligned with the firm's strategic priorities and contribute to commercial objectives, while maintaining consistency and high-quality execution across all regions.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of structured, milestone-driven 24-month integration plans for lateral partners globally, ensuring alignment with individual business cases and the firm's strategic objectives.
  • Maintain integration trackers, milestones and action plans across US and ROW, and assist in preparing regular reports on integration progress, outcomes and risks for senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with other BD team members (especially those with responsibility for the lateral partner's Global Product Group, Sector or Region), Recruitment, Comms, HR, Finance (including Business Intake), GC & Compliance, K&I, and the Partners and associates in the Global Product Group and Sector teams.
  • Coordinate with HR and Recruitment teams on lateral partner on-boarding and early-stage operational readiness.
  • Support lateral partners with internal navigation, meetings and preparation, including facilitating connections across practices, sectors, regions and business professionals to support both cultural and operational integration.
  • Assist with client mapping, target lists and internal introductions, supporting early commercial traction and the embedding of client relationships.
  • Coordinate client meetings, and follow-up actions.
  • Support internal and external profile-raising initiatives, in partnership with the Communications team.
  • Liaise with partner coaching initiatives.
  • Facilitate formal and informal connections across the firm.
  • Monitor and maintain dashboards, reporting and integration materials, identifying and escalating integration risks or challenges to senior team members as appropriate.
  • Capture feedback and support continuous improvement of the integration programme, contributing ideas for programme development and best practice sharing.


Qualifications

Your experience
  • Experience in professional services, business development, talent strategy or partner support roles. BD experience within a global professional services or law firm is especially highly valued.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues and risks.
  • Confidence working with senior partners, senior managers and stakeholders globally.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive and solutions-focused.
  • Strong interest in firm strategy, client relationship development and people development.
  • Collaborative, discreet and execution-oriented approach, with sound commercial judgement.

Clifford Chance US LLP offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $89,000 - $101,000. The actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
