Job Description
TRAFFIX is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and our Data Platform team. In this role, you will gather and translate business requirements into actionable reporting solutions, develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, and help drive the adoption of AI-powered tools across the organization.

Working closely with other Data and Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and business leaders across Finance, Operations, and Sales, you will ensure reporting solutions align with data standards while empowering users to make better, data-driven decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining business analysis, data storytelling, reporting, and emerging AI technologies to create measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand reporting, analytics, and business intelligence needs.
  • Translate business requirements into clear Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards using certified Microsoft Fabric datasets.
  • Validate report outputs against documented requirements and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Define, document, and maintain business metrics and KPI definitions across assigned business areas.
  • Partner with the Data Engineers and other Data Analysts to ensure reporting logic aligns with certified data models and governance standards.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools, including Microsoft Copilot, Fabric AI, and other large language model (LLM) solutions, to accelerate analysis, documentation, and insight generation.
  • Create and maintain AI-assisted analysis playbooks, prompt libraries, and best practices.
  • Coach and support business users on self-service reporting capabilities and responsible AI usage.
  • Drive user adoption of reporting solutions and promote data literacy across the organization.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, reduce manual effort, and increase business efficiency through automation and AI.

Required Qualifications
  • 2-4 years in a business analysis or data intelligence role
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements for reporting, analytics, or technology initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, including BRDs, user stories, process mapping, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Familiarity with Claude, data governance practices, and enterprise reporting environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical solutions.
  • Experience working with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Fabric AI, ChatGPT, or similar technologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A passion for helping business teams become more data-driven and AI-enabled.
