• Good to have skills include certifications such as CBAP or PMP, which can enhance a candidates qualifications.
• Experience with document composition platforms and data tools like SQL or Informatica is beneficial.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and tools for defect tracking can also be advantageous.
• Mentoring experience and knowledge of API testing tools are considered a plus.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies can further strengthen a candidates profile.
• Candidates must have at least good years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, particularly in customer communications and document production.
• Proficiency in creating Business Requirements Documents and data mapping is essential.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently are also required.
• Familiarity with UML diagramming and API integration is necessary for effective communication with technical teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must for client interactions.
• Requirements & Solution Definition Lead requirements workshops, walkthroughs, and stakeholder s essions (business, technology, operations).
• Author BRDs covering scope, file layouts, householding, return streams, cost centre logic, indexing, notifications, and archival requirements.
• Translate runbooks, sample data/files, outputs, and legacy specifications into business rules.
• Perform source-to-target data mapping, documenting lineage, transformations, defaults, and exception handling. Analyse XML, JSON, XSD, JSON Schema, delimited, and fixed-width data structures to validate business rule support.
• Identify gaps/risks early, recommend mitigations, manage change control, and support solutioning/effort estimation across programs of varying complexity.
• Artifacts & Deliverables Own BRDs, including authoring, versioning, stakeholder alignment, and client sign-off.
• Produce FDS, SDD, ICD/Data Interface Specifications, and source-to-target mapping documents. Define print, digital, and archival output requirements, including delivery, indexing, notifications, and finishing rules.
• Develop UML diagrams (use case, activity, sequence, component) and current/future-state process workflows.
• Prepare workshop materials, alignment decks, questionnaires, and transition/handover documentation.
• Client & Program Delivery Lead BSA activities across client programs, change requests, and multi-LOB delivery initiatives.
• Conduct BRD walkthroughs, capture feedback, and drive approvals/signoffs.
• Analyse API integrations, documenting endpoints, payloads, authentication, error handling, and NFRs for REST/SOAP services.
• Support CAT/PAT by clarifying requirements, validating outputs, and classifying defects. Maintain centralized BSA repositories and oversee offshore/vendor BSA teams, onboarding, reviews, and balancing workload.
• Meetings & Facilitation Facilitate requirements and alignment sessions across statements, letters, reports, tax documents, and special handling streams. Coordinate with development
