Full Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Tech Business Development Manager with single-threaded ownership of Homepage Business Development on Stores North America. You will oversee USA and Canada - launching new features for premium products, acting as the general manager during events, and partnering with product, sales, and cross-functional teams to expand market opportunities and maximize revenue impact.

Key job responsibilities

Own and design business plans to expand Homepage Premium Ads and Events across the Americas, partnering cross-functionally with Product (Ads and Stores Publisher), Finance, Legal, Marketing, Services, and Publisher Technology organizations

Serve as the single-threaded growth leader for Homepage business development on Stores North America - scaling existing channels, developing new ones, and defining the optimal product and package mix for market

Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for net-new premium products, including positioning, pricing, packaging, and launch approach in partnership with Product and Sales

Drive strategic business planning for all ad products, including influencing sales strategy, strategic account planning, and supplying business inputs into marketing to deliver against objectives

Impact Stores Homepage goals across multiple customers, verticals, products, and geographies - managing inputs and outputs and driving toward goal attainment

Influence and advocate business opportunities with senior leaders across Stores Publisher teams and Ad Sales

Author strategic documents including business requirements, GTM plans, business review documents, and operational plans

Deliver business development goals by coordinating execution across Publishers, Sales, Marketing, Product, Program Management, and Engineering teams

A day in the life

You will be responsible for defining business development strategy that complements product strategy - including collaborating with the product team to build go-to-market strategies, drive revenue, establish partnerships, and enable the development of all ad products on Stores. You will work closely with Product teams across Amazon Ads and North America Sales organizations - serving as the single-threaded growth leader for scaling existing and developing new channels, driving strategic business planning for all ad products including influencing sales and strategic account planning, supplying business inputs into general marketing to achieve objectives, and defining the mix of products and packages to offer to market.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree

- 5+ years of professional or military experience

- 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

- Knowledge of publisher ad tech stacks and/or advertising technology

- Knowledge of the AdTech industry (e.g., Ad Servers, SSPs, DSPs)

- Experience leading complex, multi-year initiatives that may be cross-functional and/or span business and technology

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
