Job DescriptionSeeking a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to implement, configure, manage, and provide guidance on cloud infrastructure in VDOTs Azure environment. Additionally, the resource will be responsible for:
- Provide expert guidance on the design, implementation, configuration, and governance of Azure resources, networking, and security policies.
- Implement, maintain, and monitor mission-critical cloud resources in a large enterprise environment.
- Manage and optimize enterprise backup and disaster recovery operations, ensuring reliability and continuity.
- Plan, lead, and execute cloud migration initiatives, including moving workloads from on-premises to Azure.
- In-depth experience working with other areas of IT such as architecture, security, development, and governance.
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting for production applications and infrastructure.
- Utilize security tools such as Tenable to manage vulnerability remediation and improve security posture.
- Build meaningful observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Workbooks, Alerts, and related tooling.
- Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery (DR) strategies to minimize downtime and protect critical data.
- Demonstrate strong networking knowledge, including OSI model concepts, core network protocols, and network-level troubleshooting.
