Key Responsibilities - Independently manage a family law caseload from initial strategy sessions to resolution.
- Represent clients in contested hearings, marital settlement agreements, and litigation.
- Conduct effective client and opposing counsel communication to move cases forward.
- Meet billable hour requirements and ensure thorough case documentation in CLIO.
- Supervise paralegals, ensuring all filings and documents meet high-quality standards.
- Provide live witness preparation and deliver strong advocacy in court.
- Uphold professionalism and ethics, adhering to the Rules of Professional Conduct.
What We're Looking ForEducation & Licensing: - Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in California.
Experience: - Minimum 7 years of family law practice.
- Proven track record of handling:
- 50+ contested hearings.
- 50+ marital settlement agreements.
- 10+ litigation cases.
Skills: - Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with case management software like CLIO.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
Additional InformationWork Environment: - Hybrid setup with occasional travel to court and client meetings.
