About the RoleAs a Senior Associate on the DoorDash for Business Strategy & Operations team, you will own two of the team's highest-leverage growth levers: merchandising and promotions. You'll work at the intersection of strategy, data, and platform partnership - researching what business customers need, running experiments to test it, and turning those insights into a stronger merchandising and promo strategy for DDfB.
This role is ideal for someone energized by translating ambiguous business needs into a shared platform's roadmap, comfortable moving between qualitative research and hard data, and excited to become the resident expert on how DoorDash's merchandising and promo systems work.
You will report into the Manager, Strategy & Operations for DoorDash for Business, working in a hybrid model based out of NYC (preferred) or SF.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...- Shape the Business-Customer Experience: Deeply understand what DoorDash for Business customers need - through user interviews, data analysis, and experimentation - and turn those insights into a stronger DoorDash for every business that orders with us.
- Run the Experiments End-to-End: Generate hypotheses and run experiments directly on DoorDash's marketplace to improve the experience for business customers.
- Become the DoorDash Merchandising Channel Expert for DDfB: Learn how DoorDash decides what customers see when they browse or search, and how offers get promoted through in-app ads - then represent DoorDash for Business's needs as that system evolves.
- Own Promo Strategy and Program: Partner with sales and marketing leadership to maximize the impact of DDfB's 7-digit promotion budget. Test new promo programs and decide which ones are worth running by testing whether they drive real, incremental sales.
We're excited about you because...- You have 3-5 years of experience in strategy & operations, management consulting, or a high-growth B2B or marketplace environment.
- You have a track record of owning product growth / GTM initiatives end-to-end-from strategy through execution-and are comfortable building processes in ambiguous, early-stage environments.
- You're analytically strong: you write SQL, work fluently with data, and know how to distill complexity into clear recommendations.
- You demonstrate fluency with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar) to automate workflows, surface insights, and drive faster, better decisions.
- You communicate with clarity and influence-you can tailor your message for operators, sales teams, and senior leadership alike.
- You have the willingness to roll up your sleeves and understand lowest level of detail
