Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering, or related field (recent graduates preferred)
Experience or exposure to CAD and analysis tools
Understanding of mechanical design principles, especially for electronic systems
Ability to apply Structural Mechanics principles
Knowledge of finite element methods and fatigue analysis
Responsibilities
Provide mechanical engineering support for new product development and existing product factory support
Collaborate with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation
Generate and process engineering change orders (ECO's) as needed

Qualifications:
To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, or a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering or related field within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
Preferred Skills:
CAD or analysis (FEA) tools exposure, and/or experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures and mechanisms
Must be able to apply the principles of Structural Mechanics to predict internal stresses and structural instabilities
Familiarity with finite element methods and fatigue
Familiarity with finite element methods and fatigue and damage tolerance principles
