Full Job Description
KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Events & Meetings to join our Events & Meetings team.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute in-person, virtual and hybrid events or programs to include but not limited to: project timelines, contract negotiation, budgeting and approvals, data analysis and reporting, innovative event concepts, elevation of the attendee experience, support of agenda development, and logistics management
  • Build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders to aligned business groups to ensure that service delivery is aligned and fully supports the event goals and firm priorities
  • Collaborate and manage deliverables with other internal departments and external vendors
  • Work as part of the planning team on large scale programs to support the event objectives and logistics
  • Work both independently and as part of a project team to make decisions in accordance with firm policies, procedures, compliance and risk management using firm-supported tools
  • Collaborate with Events & Meetings colleagues to share industry updates, promote best practices, drive synergies and consistency, and foster a culture of innovation to highlight a client-centric approach
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:
  • Minimum three years of recent experience in events and meeting planning within a professional services firm is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; high school diploma or GED required
  • Experience in professional relationship building and key client/stakeholder management
  • Strong communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgement skills to support an environment driven by client focus and teamwork; able to ideate, create, plan, and execute executive-level events consistently meeting and exceeding key stakeholder event objectives
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; event experience or knowledge is preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed. This position operates on a hybrid schedule; candidates must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to commute to the San Francisco office when not working remotely.
