Your Future Team

The Data Governance team is responsible for establishing and maintaining data quality, governance, and stewardship practices across Hightower's enterprise data ecosystem. This role reports directly to the Data Governance Manager and partners closely with Data Product Managers, Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Data Architects, and Reporting teams. As a Collibra Data Quality Solution Analyst, you will play a critical role in advancing enterprise data quality initiatives by developing scalable controls and monitoring processes that improve confidence in the data used across the organization.

What You'll Do

The Collibra Data Quality Solution Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise data quality solutions using Collibra Data Quality. You will work across business and technology teams to translate data quality requirements into automated controls, monitor critical data assets, investigate issues, and drive remediation efforts. This role combines hands-on technical development with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills to help ensure trusted, high-quality data throughout the organization.
  • Design, configure, test, and deploy data quality rules and monitoring solutions using Collibra Data Quality.
  • Develop data profiling, validation, anomaly detection, reconciliation, and monitoring controls for critical data assets.
  • Translate business-approved data quality requirements into scalable technical rules and reusable implementation patterns.
  • Monitor data quality results, investigate rule failures, perform root-cause analysis, and partner with stakeholders on remediation activities.
  • Support integration between Collibra Data Quality, Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud, Snowflake, and dbt-based data products.
  • Build and maintain data quality scorecards, dashboards, thresholds, alerts, and operational metrics.
  • Document data quality rules, source mappings, dependencies, exception handling processes, and governance requirements.
  • Partner with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Product Managers, and Engineering teams to support certified data products and enterprise governance initiatives.


What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data management, data quality engineering, analytics engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Hands-on experience developing data quality solutions using Collibra Data Quality (OwlDQ) and strong expertise in advanced SQL.
  • Practical experience working with Snowflake, dbt, data profiling, reconciliation, and data validation frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert business requirements into technical data quality rules and actionable monitoring controls.
  • Experience conducting root-cause analysis, investigating data defects, and supporting remediation efforts.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both business and technology stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience with Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud, Python, data governance frameworks, and financial services environments.
