JOB SUMMARY
Automation Quality Engineer to build a robust, scalable end-to-end (E2E) test automation framework from the ground up for our modern React web application. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to integrate quality gates into our Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid product velocity without sacrificing reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Framework Architecture: Design, build, and maintain a modular, scalable E2E automation framework for a frontend React web application (e.g., using Playwright or Cypress with TypeScript).
Pipeline Integration: Seamlessly integrate test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated PR validation and nightly runs.
Test Strategy & Coverage: Partner with backend (.NET) and frontend developers to identify high-value integration and E2E test scenarios, focusing on critical user journeys.
Flakiness Management: Implement best practices to ensure fast, deterministic, and maintainable test execution (avoiding brittle, slow tests).
Observability & Reporting: Set up clear dashboarding and alerting (e.g., Azure Test Plans/App Insights) for test execution results.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
QE Automation Skill 1 - 8 + Years of exp in QE
QE Automation Skill 2 - 5 + Years of Exp in Azure, C# and react
QE Automation Skill 3 - 6+ Years of exp in Playwright/Selenium
QE Automation Skill 4 - 6+ Years of exp in Typescript/Javascript

Core Technical Skills
Programming and Frameworks
.Net Language: Write clean, solid code using object-oriented principles.
Test Frameworks: Build robust UI tests using Playwright or Selenium WebDriver.
Test Runners: Execute and manage tests with NUnit, XUnit, or MSTest.
BDD Tools: Use SpecFlow or Reqnroll to write tests in a readable Given-When-Then format.
Front-End and API Knowledge
Web Tech: Understand HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
.NET Front-End: Test apps built with Blazor, ASP.NET MVC, or Angular/React paired with a .NET backend.
Locators: Use stable element selectors like data-testid to keep tests from breaking.
API Testing: Validate backend endpoints using RestSharp or HttpClient alongside UI checks.

CI/CD: Integrate test suites into GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Source Control: Manage code using Git and pull requests.
