Role: Senior Associate (Private Credit)
Location: Dallas, Texas (In-Person)
Role Overview: The Senior Associate will be involved in all aspects of the investment underwriting and portfolio management process. Key responsibilities will include assisting with financial modeling, preparing and presenting investment committee materials, performing industry research to assist in investment decision making, helping to monitor portfolio companies, developing comparable public company and private transaction valuation analyses, aiding the deal team in monitoring the active investment pipeline, preparing for weekly investment team meetings, assisting with marketing material preparation, and tracking business development activities.
Qualifications:
- Up to 5-6 years of experience in private credit, commercial lending, investment banking, or related investment professional roles
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, including experience and aptitude in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, and valuation methodologies
- Ability to operate with autonomy and accountability in a small, execution-focused team
- Strong communication skills including writing/composition, oral, and listening skills
- Must possess a good attitude, be dedicated, have initiative and motivation, attention to detail, teamwork, professionalism, and a developing interest in credit investing
- Be a team player and affable
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
