JOB DESCRIPTION
EXL seeks a strategic, visionary Senior Assistant Vice President to lead the development of transformative capabilities that supports our healthcare claims lifecycle aspirational goals. This leader will architect, guide development of, and operationalize industry-leading solutions that deliver a seamless claims process. This is a high-visibility and strategic position, requiring collaboration across leadership, SGU, and IMU teams.
Location: US Remote
Base Pay Range: $139,700 - $199,600 plus annual bonus
The posted range is the hiring range for this role — a subset of the broader range available to employees over time — and reflects base salary across our national hiring scale. Final offers are based on several factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, internal pay equity, work location, market conditions for the role, and the specific scope and responsibilities of the position. The top of the range is reserved for candidates who notably exceed the requirements; the lower end applies to those with less experience or fewer preferred qualifications. For positions based in higher-cost zones (e.g., California, New York, New Jersey), actual compensation may exceed the posted range; your recruiter will share specifics during the process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a scalable platform that optimizes claims processing.
- Build, hire, and lead a cross-functional team spanning technology, operations, and process excellence.
- Lead end-to-end program development from concept to operational maturity, ensuring alignment with our strategic vision to streamline the provider claim processing experience.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales, technology, product, and business teams to ensure cohesive platform design and implementation.
- Track and report key performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business outcomes and vision.
- Foster innovation and drive continuous improvement in both technology and process.
Sales Support:
- Support IMU leaders in development of account-specific workshops, demos, and strategic proposal creation.
- Assist with development of ROI and value metrics to support sales.
- Provide guidance on the requisite people, process, and technology to support program growth and operational excellence.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 plus years in healthcare technology, claims operations, or a related field, with 5 plus years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record of building and scaling tech-enabled programs, particularly in the healthcare or claims domain.
- Expertise in business product strategy, program management, and team leadership.
- Deep understanding of healthcare claims lifecycle, clearinghouse operations, and matrixed, multi-vendor resolution strategies.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Ability to drive cross-functional teams and navigate matrixed organizations.
