Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Analyst, Technology Product Management to join the Therapeutics Discovery Information Technology organization in Spring House, PA.

This role will support a broad portfolio of scientific, digital, data, automation, and technology initiatives across Therapeutics Discovery. The successful candidate will partner with scientific and technology stakeholders to understand business needs, analyze processes, define requirements, and support the delivery of technology solutions that advance research and discovery.

This Business Analyst will contribute to business analysis activities across multiple initiatives, working closely with scientists, product teams, software developers, data teams, and business stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to develop broad experience across a diverse range of scientific and technology domains while helping establish a high-performing Business Analysis capability within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis and Delivery
  • Gather, document, and analyze business, process, and system requirements.
  • Support business analysis activities across scientific, technology, and operational initiatives.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear and actionable requirements.
  • Develop process maps, business workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting project documentation.
  • Assist in evaluating solution options and identifying opportunities for process improvement.


Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with scientists, product teams, software development teams, data organizations, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Participate in interviews, workshops, and working sessions to gather information and build shared understanding.
  • Facilitate discussions for defined workstreams and project activities.
  • Support alignment between scientific stakeholders and technology delivery teams.


Process Analysis and Continuous Improvement
  • Document and analyze current-state business processes and workflows.
  • Contribute to the design of future-state processes and operating models.
  • Identify process gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support organizational change and adoption activities associated with new processes and technologies.


Capability Development
  • Contribute to business analysis standards, templates, and reusable assets.
  • Capture and share knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices.
  • Build expertise across scientific, business, and technology domains.
  • Participate in professional development activities and the broader Business Analysis community.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, Business Process Analysis, Consulting, technology delivery, scientific operations, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather information, analyze problems, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in collaborative and cross-functional environments.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, research, or scientific organizations.
  • Experience working with laboratory, scientific, automation, data, artificial intelligence, or digital technology environments.
  • Experience creating process documentation, requirements documentation, user stories, or business workflows.
  • Familiarity with Agile, product-oriented, or hybrid delivery approaches.
  • Participation in relevant Business Analysis professional organizations, certifications, or industry communities.
